Global Water Technologies board members in Qatar
DOHA,QATAR, January 2, 2011 -- Global Water Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets: GWTR) board members Tony Sandlin and Erik Hromadka are working in Qatar during the month of Januray.
Sandlin, a professional hot-air balloon pilot, was invited to participate in the activities of the 2011 Asian Cup, a world-class tournament of soccer teams from 16 countries. He and his crew are guests in the city of Doha, which was just selected to host the 2022 World Cup.
"We welcome such a unique opportunity to develop relationships in this part of the world," Hromadka said. "The Asian markets are increasingly important and Qatar has one of the fastest-growing economies with major infrastructure development and significant interest in new water technologies."
