Events feature Indiana public companies, promote Indianapolis attractions
INDIANAPOLIS, September 13, 2012 -- Global Water Technologies (OTC Pink: GWTR) will be attending the third INVESTIndiana Equity Conference in downtown Indianapolis today, an exclusive, invitation-only event at Lucas Oil Stadium that connects the state's public companies with regional and national members of the financial community.
As those individuals arrive at the conference, they are likely to see board member Tony Sandlin flying over the city as part of the first multiple hot-air balloon flight in the downtown area. Sandlin, a commercial balloon pilot who participates in international events, is coordinating the flight to promote Indianapolis to a conference of national travel writers visiting the state's capital this week.
These two separate events are a unique chance for us to participate in the dynamic Indianapolis culture that continues to get national attention for its innovation and growing entrepreneurship, said CEO Erik Hromadka. We flew over the Super Bowl festivities in February to call awareness to water infrastructure issues and this summer we have a new technology from Europe to help reduce water loss. It's exciting to have such opportunities for both established and emerging companies here in Indianapolis.
