Global Water Technologies presents at XPRIZE Water Scarcity summit
INDIANAPOLIS, October 27, 2024 — Global Water Technologies (OTC: GWTR) was invited to present at the North American team summit for the new XPRIZE Water Scarcity competition that is being sponsored by The Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative to create reliable, sustainable and affordable seawater desalination systems.
The team summit took place during the WEFTEC conference in New Orleans and Global Water Technologies was one of five teams that presented ideas for the competition, which opened its qualification round last week. The company plans to utilize an innovative approach that leverages non-chemical water technology and is in discussions with strategic partners and potential investors to support this effort.
A summary of the team summit is available at the official XPRIZE Water Scarcity website.
